For this assignment we were asked to create illustrations to accompany a randomly assigned article. I was assigned "TV Makes People Smarter" by Steven Johnson.
The article argues that the complicated plots in television shows have forced people to become smarter. It observes how plots have become obviously more complicated over the past few decades and says that this alone is enough proof.
The first illustration is meant to show the evolution of television over the decades while the second focuses on how complicated the typical plots are for each era.
